Congratulations, Howie! Howie’s Broken Hee-Haw s

Congratulations, Howie! Howie’s Broken Hee-Haw sold through and went into a second print run. 🥳 It’s every author’s dream to sell out of books and that’s exactly what happened with Howie’s book. It came out on February 22nd and on May 20th I received an email from my publisher with this amazing news. Now that the books have arrived in the warehouse and we’re fully restocked, we can celebrate! I want to share with you part of the email I received in May because it’s so incredibly special to me.

My publisher wrote, “I wanted to touch base with you today and let you know that we have distributed almost all of our copies of Howie to different stores and customers since they arrived. . . . We have ordered a second print run which is exciting. . . . Congratulations! This doesn’t happen for everyone or happen this quickly. We just never know in this process how many books to produce . . . but being able to sell through is so important. . . . Again this is great news! I am incredibly proud of you and of this book and know that the message is continuing to make an impact and reach kids!”

God has had His hand on this little book from the very beginning and it’s been an amazing experience watching Him do big things with Howie. This is God’s book and He is getting it where He wants it to go. I’m just thrilled to be a part of it all. If you’ve purchased a copy of Howie’s Broken Hee-Haw or shared the book, you’re part of it too. You’ve helped make my dreams come true and I’m so thankful!

Storytelling with Josie is back and this time I want to tell you my freedom in Christ story! Now to be fair, my story is very long and has been a lifetime in the making so know that this is an incredibly short summary and I definitely left things out I maybe should have included. I also want to say my church is amazing and they helped me work through a lot of this too. A lot of my misconceptions were just that, mine. Yet Jesus walked me into freedom at just the right time and in just the right way and I’m so thankful. Jesus lives, friends! He lives in me and He can live in you too. Invite Him in, won’t you?

The sky was gorgeous last night. I made this mirror image reflection from a photo I took. I copied the original image three times and flipped each in various ways to create the mirror image/reflection. I love how it turned out. It looks like lace! I hope you’re having a beautiful Monday.
