A Sneak Peek
As I mentioned last week, my website is getting a makeover this week so I’m going to make this quick. I have a new tagline and logo to go with the new website and I just can’t wait to show you!
Here’s a sneak peek…
A Fresh Start
Hello friends, I’m excited to announce that my website is getting the makeover it deserves. I have some smart people helping me do all the things I don’t know how to do and I’m thrilled to be moving forward with this project. I’m even more thrilled to share the new look with you when it’s ready. It won’t be long now!
Fall has me thinking about fresh starts and changing seasons. The leaves are changing here in Wisconsin and they’re gorgeous. I can’t seem to get enough of the beauty around me. But all too soon…
An Exclusive Interview with Author Jaime Jo Wright
I’m so excited to have Wisconsin author Jaime Jo Wright with me on the blog today. She’s one of my very favorite authors and I just know you’ll love her too! Jaime writes split-time novels that are spooky and suspenseful. Her latest book, The Haunting at Bonaventure Circus released this month and I have to say, it’s my favorite one yet! I know some of you are wondering, so let me assure you that there are no scary clowns in the book. Whew!
A couple of weeks ago I shared a video book review. If you missed it, you can watch it here. But now we’re in for a special treat. Cue up the calliope and let’s get this party started!
Diving Into the Deep End
It’s probably been a while since most of us have been in a swimming pool – unless you have one in your own backyard. Are you a deep end or a shallow end kind of person?
The shallow end is easy. You can laze away the day in the cool water without fear of getting in too deep. You can play games or just dip your toes in. You could even…
When Life Knocks You Down
If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know I HATE missing out on things. As a child one of my favorite phrases was, “Me go too!” I hated to be left out or left behind.
Life with chronic illness means that I’m often left out and left behind. I want to do it all, but sometimes my body just screams, “NO!” It’s not having it and as much as I try to…
Peace in All the Things
Hiya friends! Can you believe it’s September already? This year has seemed to drag on endlessly, yet I’m still surprised that fall is upon us. Life is funny like that!
I’m working on a website makeover. She’s going to be so pretty when I’m done with her! I have no idea what I’m doing so if my site goes down for a short time, forgive me. I’ll get it all figured out eventually and I hope you’ll love the new look.
With the new website will come…
The Haunting at Bonaventure Circus: A Video Review
You guys, I’ve never done something like this before, but there’s a first time for everything, right?! I’d like to share something different with you this week.
A video review for Jaime Jo Wright’s latest book, The Haunting at Bonaventure Circus.
I’m also THRILLED to announce that I’m working on…
Broken and Beautiful
A few weeks back something caught my eye as I was coming out of the house. Or maybe going in. Who remembers! I saw something strange flying across the sky. I quickly determined it was a butterfly, but it didn’t look right.
It was bouncing as it flew. It would fly high, then low, making a tipsy path toward the garden. My curiosity was instantly on high alert and I had to find out what was wrong with this butterfly.
The Freedom of My Name
Oh friends, you’re in for a treat. My friend Marlene Houk is guest blogging for me today. Let’s get right to it, you’re going to want to read this!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Who are you? Have you discovered the meaning of your name? I am convinced that my name is as important to God and even more so than it is to me.
My name is Marlene, and in Hebrew it means – from the tower. In fact, my name reminds me of…
The Hope of Jesus
I’m an optomistic person, but let’s face it, life is hard. We experience all kinds of difficulties and hardships, pain and heartbreak. Even Jesus tells us that we’re going to experience trials and sorrows in this world. But He doesn’t stop there. He encourages us to take heart because He has overcome the world.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” ~John 16:33 (NLT)
Can you feel the tension? I can.
