Peace in All the Things

Hiya friends! Can you believe it’s September already? This year has seemed to drag on endlessly, yet I’m still surprised that fall is upon us. Life is funny like that!

I’m working on a website makeover. She’s going to be so pretty when I’m done with her! I have no idea what I’m doing so if my site goes down for a short time, forgive me. I’ll get it all figured out eventually and I hope you’ll love the new look.

With the new website will come a new newsletter than I’ll send out once a month or in cases of super fun news. I’m working on a special gift for those of you who sign up for my newsletter. I’m beautifying a multiple award winning short story I wrote. I’m almost done with the cover and I’m excited to share this very personal story with you. It’s most assuredly the most personal thing I’ve ever written and I’m excited for you to read it. (And a little nervous if I’m being honest!)

Tomorrow I’ll be participating in an all day manuscript pitch party on Twitter called #PitMad. If you’re on Twitter, I’d love your support! Look for my #PitMad tweets and comment on them or retweet them. (Please DON’T like the tweets, likes are saved for agents who are interested in my manuscript.) I’ll be pitching two picture books and I’m excited to see what the day brings and connect with other writers through our excitement and nerves.

Thanks for reading this quick update on my crazy life and for your patience as I figure out all the technology. I can’t afford a new computer so I’m going to try really hard not to throw this one out the window! I really do have a love/hate relationship with all things technology relate. Uffda!

I may be playing this song by Hope Darst on repeat as I work. I just heard it this morning and I love it!

I know that in all things, God is in control and that He has a good plan for me and my life. I can do all thing through Jesus Christ. He is my strength, my love, my life!
