Happy New Year, friends! It’s always exciting to start a fresh year willed with hopes and dreams. This month I’m honored to introduce you to my writerly friend, Stacy T. Simmons. Stacy writes uplifting fiction that delights the reader’s romantic sensibilities. She says thirty-four years of marital bliss is a great contributor! She’s a mom of two grown children, and she and her family have a menagerie of pets she likes to call “Noah’s Ark.” Like me, she’s a big fan of dark chocolate and coffee!
Stacy’s new book, A Promise for Faith, is the first in the Briar Creek Love Series.
Secrets have the power to ruin lives. Faith and love have the power to disarm those secrets.
Failure isn’t an option for Faith Fuller, she wants to prove to herself and her very successful parents she can stand on her own, even if it means accepting a job offer from someone she wanted to forget. To add to the problem, that job means facing her biggest fear.
Caleb Gaines is looking for a manager for his coffee shop. He’s in over his head running his successful river outfitters business and being a single dad to a preschooler. But the perfect candidate wants nothing to do with him. Risk-taker Caleb is up for a challenge and wants to convince Faith to help him.
If neither one relies on faith and learns to trust, any chance at love will be washed downstream.
An out-of-work chef and successful river outfitter are both hiding secret tragedies. How much faith will it take to learn to trust in each other, overcome obstacles, and find love?
A Promise for Faith releases on January 18th and is available for preorder from Amazon. You can connect with Stacy on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, her blog (Fueled by Faith and Caffeine), and her website.
Personally, 2022 is going to be a special year for me. It’s the year I will witness a dream come true. My first published book will Hee-Haw, Hee-Ha-La-La-Lay-Lu-Ya into the world on 2.22.22. I can’t wait for children and adults alike to meet Howie and his broken Hee-Hawer. I pray many hearts are touched as readers learn, along with Howie, that God created each of us on purpose and for a purpose. 2022 will be filled with many new writing experiences and adventures. To stay up to date with the latest news, subscribe to my monthly newsletter where I share all the best news first – like a trip to sign books at an event in North Carolina. Details on that in my next newsletter!
Joyfully,
Josie
