Sunflower Fields and Car Rides

After so many days in the house feeling sick, my dad took me for a car ride to look at some beautiful sunflower fields. I brought my camera along and took some photos out the car window. I’m happy a few of the photos turned out so cheery!

Fields of sunflowers make me so happy. I don’t know how anyone can drive by and not smile when all those yellow faces are smiling back. Do you have sunflower fields where you live?

I’m so thankful to be on the mend, but I think it’s going to take a while to get my strength and energy back. You know I don’t feel well when I don’t even have the energy or brain power to read a book! I’ve been binging old episodes of Murder She Wrote, Monk, and funny old shows like Three’s Company. What do you like to watch when you’re feeling sick?

Until Next Time,

Thank you so much! I love the Dick Van Dyke show. I don’t think I’ve seen the other one. I might have to check it out!

The sunflowers are gorgeous! Praying you feel better soon. My daughter and I love to watch period dramas when we’re not feeling well.

Doctor Thorne, Wives and Daugters, Downton Abbey, North and South, All Creatures Great and Small, Landfill Girls, Jane Eyre, and anything Jane Austen just to name a few. 😄 We also like Agatha Christie mysteries and Father Brown. And those you named in your post are keepers.

I love almost all of those. There’s a few I haven’t heard of. I’ll have to check them out, it sounds like we have similar tastes!
