I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and I’m still trying to figure out my new normal. It’s a challenge figuring out how to live life again after being so very sick for so very long. However, it’s a challenge that I’m more than ready for!
Our regular Behind the Photo Friday posts will be back again next week, but in the meantime I wanted to share a picture of my new “sister” – isn’t she adorable? My parents brought Ruby home this week and we all love her to pieces already.
It’s a good thing I only live about 2 miles away because I need to get in my Ruby snuggles every day! Ruby is what they call a Teddy Bear; she’s half Bichon Frise and half Shih Tzu. She really does look like a little teddy bear!
Our last two dogs were English Bulldogs, so Ruby is quite the change for us. At her first vet visit she weighed in at just over three pounds. We still can’t get over how tiny she is! We think she’ll grow to about 10 pounds, but only time will tell.
