The Gerbera Daisies

The time was almost exactly three years ago, and I was having a rough spell with my health – much like I am now. I got an early morning phone call that awoke me out of a foggy slumber.

Who could be calling me at this hour?

I answered the phone and was pleasantly surprised to find one of our local florists on the other end of the line. They had a delivery for me!

“Yes, I’ll be home.” I’ve been home for days.

A little while later some beautiful gerbera daisies were delivered to my door. I love gerbera daisies! They are so cheerful and happy and did just the trick to cheer me up and help me feel better.

The card revealed that these beautiful flowers were from my coworkers at church and it was so nice to know they hadn’t forgotten about me!

Even though I didn’t feel well, I had to snag a couple of photos with my newest camera that took the perfect photograph. Soft petals, beautiful lighting, perfect petals. Pure magic.

Today I’m thankful for the beautiful flowers that are yet again doing a good job of cheering me up!
